He is currently a member of the General Medical Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, a member of the Planning Textbook Compilation Committee of the Eight-Year Clinical Medicine Department of the National College of Higher Education, and a member of Health Management Professional Planning Textbook Expert Committee of the National College of Higher Education. Editorial Board ofThe Journal of Medicine & Philosophy, editor-in-chief ofChinese Medical Ethicsmagazine, deputy editor-in-chiefChinese JournalofMedical History,editorial board ofMedicine and Philosophy,Chinese and Foreign Medical Philosophy,Medicine and Society,Global Health Journaland so on. He is currently the executive director of the China Sexology Association, the deputy director of Chinese Society Medical Ethics of Chinese Medical Association, the deputy director of Chinese Society Medical History of Chinese Medical Association, the chairman of the Integrated Medical and Humanities Committee of the Integrated Medical Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and the president of the Shaanxi Sexology Society, deputy director of the Shaanxi Provincial Medical Ethics Association, executive director of the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology History Society and chairman of the Medical History Professional Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Shaanxi Medical History Society.
He has taken charge of 4 Natural Science Foundation of China and National Social Science foundation, taken charge of 20 provincial and ministerial level and international cooperation projects, edited and participated in more than 80 books and textbooks, and published more than 200 academic papers, including 15 papers by SSCI and SCI. He has received 8 teaching and research awards.
